Our weekly Order of Worship is listed below and you can expand and collapse content as needed. We invite you to participate in worship with us. If you're live streaming the service on your computer, use another device (i.e iPad, tablet, or smartphone) for song lyrics and other readings.

ORDER OF WORSHIP

Sunday - January 16, 2022

“…we never roam beyond the Shepherd's eye. In our sorrows He observes us incessantly, and not a painful emotion escapes Him; in our toils He notices all our weariness, and He writes all the struggles of His faithful ones in His book. These thoughts of the Lord encompass us in all our paths and penetrate the innermost region of our being. Not a nerve or tissue, valve or vessel of our bodily frame is uncared for; all the details of our little world are thought upon by the great God.”

- C.H. Spurgeon

  • Psalm 95:6–7

Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!

For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.

  • THE LORD'S PRAYER

Our Father which art in heaven,

    Hallowed be thy name.

    Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

    And forgive us our debts,

    as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

    but deliver us from evil:

For thine is the kingdom, and the power,

    and the glory, forever Amen.

  • (Verse 1)

Oh how good it is When the family of God

Dwells together in spirit, In faith and unity.

Where the bonds of peace, Of acceptance and love

Are the fruit of His presence Here among us.

    (Chorus)

So with one voice we’ll sing to the Lord

And with one heart we’ll live out His word

Till the whole earth sees The Redeemer has come

For He dwells in the presence of His people.

    (Verse 2)

Oh how good it is On this journey we share

To rejoice with the happy And weep with those who mourn.

For the weak find strength The afflicted find grace

When we offer the blessing Of belonging.

    (Verse 3)

Oh how good it is To embrace His command

To prefer one another Forgive as He forgives.

When we live as one We all share in the love

Of the Son with the Father And the Spirit.

  • THE  APOSTLES CREED

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell.

The third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy *catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

    * Note: Use of the word “catholic” in this sense simply means universal. As the Church, we believe that God has purchased for Himself a people from every nation, time, tribe, tongue, and people group.

  • (Verse 1)

We have only one life and it soon will pass

And only what's done for Christ will last

Jesus You can use me Lord

Riches and houses cars and lands

Will all pass away but my life will stand

Jesus You can use me Lord

    (Chorus)

    For Your glory

    For Your glory

    For Your glory

    You can use me Lord

  • Ephesians 5:15–21

[15] Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, [16] making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. [17] Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. [18] And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, [19] addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, [20] giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, [21] submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.

  • (Verse 1)

My hope is built on nothing less

    Than Jesus' blood and righteousness

I dare not trust the sweetest frame

But wholly lean on Jesus' name

    (Chorus)

On Christ the solid Rock I stand

All other ground is sinking sand

All other ground is sinking sand

    (Verse 2)

When darkness veils His lovely face

I rest on His unchanging grace

In every high and stormy gale

My anchor holds within the veil

    (Verse 3)

His oath, His covenant, His blood

Support me in the whelming flood

When all around my soul gives way

He then is all my Hope and Stay

    (Verse 4)

When He shall come with trumpet sound

Oh may I then in Him be found

    Dressed in His righteousness alone

Faultless to stand before the throne

  • May Christ dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Amen. (Eph 3:17–19)
