FAQs :: Frequently Asked QUESTIONS

What time does your Sunday service begin?

We begin our Sunday mornings with Sunday School @ 9:45AM, followed by an informal gathering for coffee and conversation at 10:30AM. Corporate worship begins at 10:45AM

How Should I Dress?

We don't have a dress code, but we know that it is nice to know what to expect when attending a new church. Dress is fairly casual at Riverside; please come in what makes you feel comfortable.

How long has this church been in the area?

We began laying the foundation for Riverside in September of 2009, and our first Sunday morning service was held in April of 2010. We ordained Elders and were officially organized in May 2014.

How do I become a member of Riverside?

Joining Riverside is a simple, yet important process. Simply let Pastor Greg or one of our Elders know that you would like to join the church. They will meet with you to help you understand the commitment you will be making with God and His church.

To what denomination does Riverside belong?

We are a congregation of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARP); a theologically conservative, evangelical, Christian denomination that has been faithfully preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ for over 225 years. Its roots are traced to the Reformation, particularly the work of John Calvin and John Knox. Scottish immigrants who came to America in search of religious freedom brought the faith to these shores. Because of the ARP's rich history, commitment to Biblical faithfulness and community, Riverside Church is delighted to bring this wise and theologically rich denomination to the River Region.
