Riverside Presbyterian Church is funded through the regular giving of tithes and offerings of our church members. We also have people from all over the country who have graciously supported our ministry and church planting efforts; we are consistently humbled by their giving. Riverside Presbyterian Church of Prattville is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, which means all charitable contributions are tax-deductible.If you have questions about your giving please contact our church treasurer, Mr. Joe Mills, and he will be happy to assist you.

We use Planning Center's "Giving" platform. You can make donations to Riverside Presbyterian Church via text, through our "Church Center" App, or from the Church Website. It’s safe, simple and secure. If possible, please use ACH (bank account) as the fees are only 25¢ per transaction. You will also be given the option to cover the fees associated with your online payment.

“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” - Luke 6:37-38

PLANNED GIVING

As a 501c3 nonprofit organization we are able to receive non-cash assets from individuals through planned charitable giving.

DONATE GIFTS OF STOCK

Donating stock that has appreciated in value may provide potential tax benefits. When you give appreciated stock—rather than cash—to Riverside, you are generally exempt from paying capital gains tax. You can maximize your resources while advancing Kingdom purposes. It is best to consult with your financial planner or tax adviser to confirm any tax benefits you may receive from your donation of stock.

ESTATE GIFTS

Consider including Riverside Presbyterian in your estate plan (i.e. bequest, life insurance, retirement plan, charitable remainder trust, gift of a residence, etc.) Doing so will be of significant benefit to the church even as it may bring significant tax benefits to the donor. Discuss the options with your financial advisor or contact our Director of Gift Planning.

"The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. As it is written, “He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.”

He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God. By their approval of this service, they will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others, while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you. Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!"
